Thanksgiving day in Southwest Florida is the place to be with friends and family.  Many of you that read this page of my website have read my short bio on the front page and know that I’ve spent a number of years in Santa Cruz California.  A good friend of mine will be visiting during the Thanksgiving holiday and we plan to fish in the Gulf of Mexico and some inland fresh water near Charlotte Harbor.  I promise to post pictures of our fishing trips.  The water temperatures around the surrounding barrier islands have cooled prompting the migration of snook inland (see www.floridabarrierislandsrealestate.com).  The weather this week has been absolutely gorgeous.  Highs in the mid to low 80’s and lows in the 60’s.  We have yet to really get any cold snap.  Happy Thanksgiving; enjoy your time with friends and family.
