Business in picking up and so are the King Fish around our local barrier islands and beaches. My favorite Florida barrier islands to fish are Casey Key, Manasota Key, Little Gasparilla Island, and Boca Grade. As I’ve stated in the past whether you reside or just visit this area sometimes, you must experiance the areas barrier islands form the water. The Gulf of Mexico side is my favorite but my friends and I have spent many hours fishing the Bay side with it’s own unique species, habitat and beauty. I’m a born and raised native to the area and can’t recall such clean clear water as we have right now. I’ts like being in the Florida Keys. I expect the King fishing to continue to improve the next couple of months as the water warms up. Anyone ready to go fishing?
